20 Mar April 1st is Opening Day! Stop in to smell the coffee
After a week-long winter vacation, we’re back in Paonia and working hard on making the move to our new location!
Things are moving right along, with the lease signed and all our coffee-roasting supplies in transit, on their way to the newly built space that’s soon to be our new home!
Our new address is 81 Highway 133, Paonia. Opening Day is April 1, 2019!
We’ll be open from 8am to noon on Mondays & Wednesday-Saturday
At first, we’ll just be roasting and serving drip coffee at our new location.
Soon (near the end of April), we’ll offer pour-over coffee and locally baked goods! Our new space will offer counter seating beside the coffee roaster, so you can watch all the magic happen. We’ll also have outdoor seating so guests can enjoy the beautiful weather in Paonia.
On April 1st, we’ll be open for bag sales and a cup of drip coffee if desired.
Our compostable bags are the talk of the town.
Remember those compostable bags we mentioned in last month’s blog post? Well, they’re now lining the shelves in grocery stores throughout the North Fork Valley.
Both bag and label are compostable, which means all our packaging is now earth-friendly!
We’re so happy to be working with Plan It Green Printing – a company that’s conscious of the impacts of sourcing decisions on endangered species, forests, communities and climate. They work closely with the not-for-profit Canopy on policy implementation to ensure environmentally sustainable fibre sourcing.
We’re extending our special offer on our light roast Ethiopia Yirgacheffe
Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is a naturally processed bean, which means it was dried in the full cherry prior to de-pulping.
Naturals (dry-processed coffees) tend to have more fruity and fermented flavors.
That’s because the bean has more time to interact with the natural sugars from the cherry as enzymes break down the mucilage around the bean.
Our Ethiopia Yirgacheffe roast has a wonderful blackberry flavor and aroma that produces an excellent cup of coffee.
Now through April 30, 2019, purchase a pound of Ethiopia Yirgacheffe for just $12.50.
